GEOS is the international emergency response center. They have assisted rescues in more than 140 countries, saving many lives. And they are ready 24/7 to respond to your SOS, track your device and notify the appropriate contacts, as well as the emergency responders in your area. Once you activate an emergency alert, you can expect a delivery confirmation that help is on the way and receive continuous updates on the status of your response team.
Multiple ways to connect
Wireless device-to-device connectivity lets you have the inReach-Mini send and receive messages remotely using compatible Garmin handhelds, wearables or other mobile devices1. GPS location tracking lets you share your whereabouts with others at home or in the field. You can also post your adventures on social media. For easy navigation, there is a compass that shows the direction and distance of a route or to a waypoint.
Pair with your mobile device
For even more features and convenience, the free Earthmate app syncs your inReach handheld with your compatible Apple® or Android™ device1 via Bluetooth® wireless technology, giving you unlimited access to maps and aerial photos. In addition, Earthmate allows you to use all inReach features conveniently on your paired mobile device. For easier messaging, you can also access your phone's contact list from the Earthmate app to reach your contacts worldwide - with fewer button actions.
Pairing with Garmin Pilot™App.
In the aviation world, the inReach Mini becomes a valuable communication link. When your inReach Mini is paired via Bluetooth with a compatible tablet or smartphone with the Garmin Pilot app, you can easily send and receive text messages from the cockpit - even from areas without cell phone signal reception. The app pulls in the contact list from your smartphone or tablet, so access is easy and seamless. And since your inReach Mini is also a handheld GPS receiver, Garmin Pilot can leverage this position source to display an aircraft position symbol with georeference on your tablet's moving map. For your followers on the ground, the inReach Mini can track your flight using the Web-based MapShare™ page created for your inReach account. You can also send links via Facebook® or Twitter®.
Additional aviation services.
Your inReach Mini is also a supported aircraft for Lockheed Martin Flight Services (LMFS) Adverse Condition Alerting Service (ACAS), Surveillance-Enhanced Search and Rescue (SE-SAR) and Enhanced Special Reporting Services (eSRS). If you register for ACAS information, notifications through LMFS prompt you to request an abbreviated briefing to discuss any specific adverse conditions that may affect the route in your flight plan. Also, automatic monitoring of the SE-SAR service allows you to identify potential in-flight emergencies and/or signals and quickly initiate search and rescue procedures for your aircraft.

Rugged, durable, shockproof (MIL-STD-810F) and waterproof to IPX7, inReach Mini is built to keep you “connected. The device contains an internal, rechargeable lithium battery for up to 50 hours of use in standard tracking mode with 10-minute transmission interval and up to 20 days in power-saving mode2. You can charge via the standard microUSB power cable or optional 12 V charger in your vehicle.
