Yacht Devices NMEA2000 Alarm Button with wiring for an external button and LED and a standard 4 or 8 Ohm Speaker. It contains a 10W sound amplifier and 28 sounds (Car alarm, Sheeps horns, whistles, various tones, etc). You can adjust 4 of these sounds yourself using a WiFi Interface (YDWR, YDNR) or USB interface (YDNU).
The NMEA2000 Alarm Button can be used as a MOB button, in this application the YDAB emulates a VHF-AIS EPIRP/PLB providing the location directly to the connected chartplotter. A second application is operation as a NMEA2000 switch bank with 28 “channels”. These can be switched by other NMEA2000 devices such as chart plotters (Digital button) and sensors from Yacht Devices that can switch a sound based on a threshold value.
The NMEA2000 alarm button can also be used as an alarm for engines, it then looks at the engine data on the NMEA2000 network (from engines with NMEA2000 connection or via the YDEG or YDES connections, the Actisense EMU-1 and similar products). By programming the threshold values for temperature, speed, etc., an alarm will sound as soon as these are exceeded.
