Simrad HS75 GNSS Compass.
The HS75 is a highly accurate heading sensor essential for autopilot, advanced radar functions and many other built-in electronics. The multi-GNSS HS75 supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS for accurate positioning and heading information. The professional HS75 provides heading accuracy of up to 0.75 degrees: far greater than an ordinary magnetic rate compass, without the cost and maintenance of a gyrocompass.
Unlike a standard GPS receiver, which can only estimate heading based on the movement of your boat, the HS75 provides accurate heading even when your boat is not moving. Integrated gyroscope and tilt sensors provide enhanced performance and a temporary source of heading data in the event of GPS signal loss.
The HS75's super-fast GPS receiver calculates your position up to 20 times per second, perfect for fast-moving powerboats and equipment that depends on fast position updates. The quick start ensures that you don't have to wait for a position fix before setting off. Support for satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS) provides more accurate positioning where available.
Tend speed, swell, rise and roll
The HS75 also calculates wind speed, swell, rise and roll of your boat. Tend speed is essential for optimum autopilot performance, while swell data is used by some sonar equipment to compensate for the effects of wave motion. This additional data is transmitted to compatible equipment over your boat's NMEA 2000® network.
Easy installation.
The HS75 offers plug-and-play installation, small size and high performance. Only 35 cm long, the compass can be easily mounted on a flat surface or on a rod.
