Universal Design The xFOB fits perfectly into the xBAND and the xTAG (REQUIRED - Can be ordered separately). This unique design allows you to decide how you want to use the MOB+ Wireless Cut-Off Switch.
General System Information When you step aboard, press the xFOB to connect to the xHUB. A green light and beep confirm the connection and the engine can be started. In the event of a fall overboard, the engine is turned off as the xFOB is underwater or 10-15 meters from the xHUB. 6 seconds after shutdown, passengers can restart the engine to rescue the person in the water. When leaving the boat, press the xFOB once to disconnect. We know that all boaters use their boats differently. For us, this was an important point in our product design process. You have to choose your own boating environment. With this in mind, we designed the xFOB to be universal for all of our MOB+ system accessories. A maximum of 20 xFOBs can be stored per xHUB (if more than 20 are paired, the first ones that were paired are deleted). Only one xFOB can be linked at a time, but different users of the same boat can have their personal xFOB for when they use the boat. Your Personal Safety Guard The corded deadman switch is rarely used because it ties you to a very limited space on board. With MOB+ Wireless Cut-Off Switch, you get your freedom back - without losing your safety. The xFOB is your personal safety guard at sea. When you place the xFOB in the corresponding xBAND or xTAG, it does not hinder your movements. Should you fall into the water, the motor(s) will stop in just one second.
One xFOB is included with the MOB+ basic package. The MOB+ xFOB can be used with the xBAND or xTAG for optimal comfort. (Sold separately)
