Raymarine Hydraulic Linear Drive Unit.
These Hydraulic Linear Drive Units are for larger, mechanically controlled vessels with a water displacement of more than 20 tons. These drive units are complete systems consisting of a reversing pump, oil tank and hydraulic cylinder.
A hydraulic linear drive unit is connected to the rudder stock via a rudder arm. You may need parts supplied by the steering gear manufacturer. The steering system must be able to be moved back using the rudder. (back drive).
